The GZA aka The Genius-Animal Planet

Living up to the moniker, The Clan’s most intricate/scientific MC shows you why they call him The Genius on this one.
Easily his best song post-Liquid Swords.

Also best song in the vein of its cousins “Labels” & “Fame”.
Welcome to the Jungle.
If this is your first time hearing this one, you’re welcome.

Wu-Tang Clan (Raekwon, The RZA, Method Man)-Duck Season

Forever was the commercial peak and in many ways the beginning of the end. While sonically the crisp, digital sound of tracks like this probably threw off a few OG Wu fans more used to RZA’s beautiful and sloppy sequencing of old-soul samples earlier in the Wu’s rise to power that crested here with a double-album that’s both loved and debated to this day.
Still I challenge anyone to tell me this isn’t three of the Clan’s sharpest swords at the top of their MC game on this one.
RZA also channeling late 90’s Dr. Dre on the beat here while signally the Bobby Digital In Stereo album that would arrive a year later.

Wu-Tang Clan-Dog Sh#t

Don’t play this one at work.
In fact if you are one of The Wudder’s readers with more refined tastes or delicate sensibilities, don’t play this at all.
This is the Dirt Dog at his absolute dirtiest.

His brothers definitely missed his energy, humor and personality on their records ever since.
RIP ODB
